The last leg of Britney Spears‘ tour may have ended, but that doesn’t mean the pop icon is taking any time off.
In between her time in Asia and the end of her upcoming Las Vegas residency, the 35-year-old mom of two has been spending a lot of time in the gym. In fact, in an Instagram video shared Thursday afternoon, Spears showed off some of the workouts she’s been getting in.
“Had a couple of weeks off… ha!! Well, not really … been keeping my body strong and motivating myself everyday!!” she captioned the video. “There’s nothing like mommy and workout time, the beautiful outdoors, and flipping into gear.”
In the video, the “Slumber Party” songstress can be seen doing moves like front lateral raises, cable pull-downs, reverse lunge and presses, and triceps extensions, as well as yoga poses and gymnastics moves like handstands and backflips.
Her athletic ability is impressive and exactly what we’ve been craving these days from the pop music legend.
Spears credits workouts with different variations of dumbbell rows for her sexy bod, and her former trainer Tony Martinez, who trained Spears to get back in shape for her Las Vegas residency, told the Daily Mail that she’d do “intense” 40-minute workouts three or four times a week.
“She loves all core workouts,” Martinez told Daily Mail. “She’s a very tenacious woman. She wants to get it done and get it done right.”
No wonder her abs are made of steel these days!
